After staring as Ali in the 10th Anniversary tour of MAMMA MIA in 2009/2010, Elise returned to the greek islands in the iconic lead role of Donna Sheridan, in the Australian revival of Mamma Mia the Musical! which opened at Sydney’s Lyric Theatre in April 2023, followed by seasons in Brisbane and Melbourne through to December 2023.

It tells the tale of Donna, an independent, fiery single mum and he daughter, Sophie, a young bride-to-be. As Sophie goes on a quest to discover the identity of her father on the eve of her wedding, she brings three men from Donna’s past back to the island. Underneath the comedic, light-hearted set up is a more poignant story as the two generations of women explore love, loss, friendship, coming to terms with a daughter leaving for adulthood and the requirement of a male figure in both their quest for fulfilment.
