Falsettos
Falsettos was the second production at the newly commissioned Eternity Playhouse for the Darlinghurst Theatre Company, running February through March 2014. Falsettos began life off-Broadway as a trilogy with book, music and lyrics by William Finn – In Trousers, March of the Falsettos and Falsettoland – and came to Broadway with the book re-written by James LaPine (Sunday in the Park With George, Passion, Into the Woods) and William Finn with the combined three parts into a two act musical.
Newly divorced, Marvin has to attempt to build and sustain relationships with his son Jason, his ex-wife Trina and his new, younger, gay lover Whizzer. Stephen Colyer (Torch Song Trilogy, The Paris Letter) directed this quirky yet tender tale about the original modern family, growing up and what it means to be a man.
The production starred Tamlyn Henderson in the lead role of Marvin, and co-starred Elise McCann as Cordellia alongside Katrina Retallick, Stephen Anderson, Ben Hall, Margi de Ferranti, Anthony Garcia and Isaac Shaw with Musical directors Nigel Ubrihien and Chris King.

Kevin Jacksons Theatre Diaries
“Margi di Ferranti and Elise McCann extend the ‘family’ dynamics of the work in a very delightful way. … The performances are convincing and expert. There is real clarity of text and truth of situation going on”

“Elise McCann adds the right subtlety to her caterer partner to be funny but not overblown”
